The Breakfast Club

Now, whether you are after a full Scottish breakfast (freeeeeedom) or a full English, then Glasgow City Centre has some great locations that don't cost an arm and a leg.

Hengler's Circus (Wetherspoon)

Location: 351-363 Sauchiehall Street, G2 3HU

You don't have to walk far to find one of Glasgow's five Wetherspoon's in the City Centre, you are spoiled for choice. Despite the faint smell of the alcohol you drank the night before, 'Spoons' comes in top tier for a full cooked breakfast.

Equally, the extensive breakfast menu offers lighter options like an Avocado breakfast muffin or Eggs Benedict, for the posher member of your party. Whatever you choose, be sure to pair it with a refillable tea or coffee mug for just £1.50.

Potentially one of the best parts about choosing a Wetherspoon for breakfast is you don't even have to talk to anyone, simply download the app and input your table number and order what you like. No queuing, no chitchat and no scrambling for change, as it comes straight off the card you choose.

Great service and willing to accommodate fussy friends who don't appreciate mushrooms or tomatoes.

Crowd pleaser, big portions, unlimited coffee.

Caffe Calla

Location222 West George Street, G2 2PQ

This cute little cafe is a hidden gem in the City Centre. Unfortunately so hidden in fact, you may easily have walked past and never been inside. Serving breakfast till 11:30 every Mon-Fri, its great for a mid-week treat.

Offering their Full Breakfast for just £4.95, with the usual bacon, sausage, egg and black pudding or haggis. The bonus being potato scones, toast and hash browns, this is place is a bargain! If even more tight for pennies, they offer a breakfast roll for only £1.40 with a filling of your choice.

Family run, 'Scottish Cafe of the Year 2018', fresh coffee and dishes made to order.

Bloc+

Location: 117 Bath Street, G2 2SZ

Open for breakfast Saturday and Sunday from 11-2, this is great for those lie ins and lazy days. Described by many as the best vegan breakfast, with the addition of tofu eggs, this is a sure favourite for some. However, as they do not have extensive breakfast options, some members of your group may find themselves opting to skip breakfast and move on to the lunch options such as a Street Eat Bagel or a Boss Dog

One point to note, the price may appear a good deal, however the portions are not amazing so if you are after a larger breakfast to cure the hang' opt for one of the other two.
